The Polish specialist of canoeing Adam Seroczynski presented herself/itself Tuesday before the arbitral Court of Sport (HE) to try to make annul his disqualification of the Olympic games of Peking for doping.

Seroczynski made call before the HE in last December to contest a decision of the Olympic international Committee (CIO).

The HE should return his verdict in the next weeks.

The ministerial committee of the CIO had disqualified the Pole of 35 years, awarded a medal of bronze to the Games of Sydney in 2000, after his positive control to the clenbuterol, an agent anabolic steroid forbids.

Seroczynski denied the accusations in last September, one month after the end of the Games of Peking, when he presented itself before a commission of discipline of the CIO. It had suggested then that the clenbuterol could come of contaminated dishes that it had eaten in China.

Seroczynski and his team member Mariusz Kujawskis had finished fourth of the test of K2 1.000 on line meters in China after have been beaten for the bronze of less a tenth of second.

Aged of 22 years, Kujawski is not worried in this business.

The two men have been awarded a medal of money to the World in 2007. Seroczynski took back its Olympic medal for Poland in K4.

The international Federation of canoe must wait that all procedures of call are finished before punishing Seroczynski.

According to the new rules of the CIO, all recognized athlete guilty of doping and suspended at least six months cannot participate in the following Olympic games.
